It’s been awhile, I apologize. Life as a hall director is a bit busier than i had imagined…which, if you knew how much I had imagined, you’d realize it’s a very busy job. Very extremely busy. I’ll try to get into a more normal routine of writing and stuff…but it might take a few weeks to get the hang of this whole “career” thing.
Pluses, compared to grad school though? No homework! I know, I’m still kinda in shock as to how amazing that concept is. 19 years of homework and classes and teachers’ dirty looks (and all the jazz), and I never have any homework to do. EVER. AGAIN. Praise the Lord.
However, being an adult has its downside as well. For one: if I don’t get work done during the day, it turns into “homework”. Two: All of my work is technically “home-work” because my office is ten feet from the front door of my apartment. Three: You have to pay for EVERYTHING! Seriously. Just bought three roundtrip plane flights and had to pay for each one. Let’s just hope this whole “adult” thing is worth it, or I swear I’m going back to get my PhD…
On another note: I turned 25 last Sunday! Yaaay!!! It’s been a wild ride since that day, but overall I’d say pretty dang great. I’ve already rented a car too! Any other perks that come with the quarter-century mark that I should know about? If so, let me know…I’m down to try it.
Also, I’m 3-0 in my fantasy football league, which is always nice (hold the applause). And Stephen Colbert spoke to congress…that was pretty sweet.
Oh yeah…and the 49ers suck…so that’s normal. But! The San Francisco Giants are in first place! Whaaaaat!?!? That’s about it for now…
