At first I thought it’d be a little egocentric to post my favorite photos I’ve taken this year and call it the “Best Photos of 2013,” but then I realized that my website’s called “BenHelms.com” and so I’m not exactly fooling anyone here.
Somebody once told me, “The best camera, is the one you have with you,” and the older my D90 gets, the more I believe that. All of the photos below were taken from my iPhone 4s, and while I’m not one to tout photos from camera phones…ok, fine, I am one to tout photos from camera phones. My point is: you can capture beauty with the simplest of cameras.
Anyway, enough words. Most of these pics are on my Instagram page, but let’s be honest, 90% of those are just photos of beer and brinner. So aside from those shots, here are some of my favorite photos over the past 10 or so months…
